Carlos Ramos, FBAUP, 4 de Dezembro de 2024, 17 H<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As disputas entre icon\u00f3dulos e\u00a0iconoclastas no Imp\u00e9rio Bizantino, especialmente fervorosas entre os s\u00e9culos VIII e IX, servem como ponto de partida para repensar as controv\u00e9rsias da imagem do seu ponto de\u00a0vista te\u00f3rico e simb\u00f3lico. Porque, se bem esses enfrentamentos representam uns posicionamentos pol\u00edticos e teol\u00f3gicos (interdi\u00e7\u00e3o da representa\u00e7\u00e3o de Deus segundo as Escrituras), por extens\u00e3o, podem-se pensar as tens\u00f5es\u00a0existentes entre a imagem e aquilo ao que a imagem aponta\u00a0\u2014uma aus\u00eancia, alguma coisa que fazemos aparecer sem estar, uma falta (um desejo). Essa falta, esse aparecer sem estar, volta-se especialmente presente na imagem ic\u00f4nica, imagem por excel\u00eancia do invis\u00edvel. Esta apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o pretende expor algumas\u00a0\u00abderiva\u00e7\u00f5es\u00bb\u00a0dessas tens\u00f5es na arte moderna e contempor\u00e2nea, assim como servir de breve percurso pela no\u00e7\u00e3o de imagem atendendo \u00e0s suas dimens\u00f5es simb\u00f3licas de nega\u00e7\u00e3o, proibi\u00e7\u00e3o\u00a0ou falta.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">The disputes between iconodules and iconoclasts in the Byzantine Empire, especially fervent between the 8th and 9th centuries, serve as a starting point for rethinking the controversies over the image from a theoretical and symbolic point of view. Because, although these confrontations represent political and theological positions (prohibition of the representation of God according to the Scriptures), by extension, we can think about the tensions that exist between the image and what the image points to\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">\u2014<\/span><span class=\"s1\">an absence, something that we make appear without being, a lack (a desire). This lack, this appearing without being, is especially present in the iconic image, the image par excellence of the invisible. Participante nos semin\u00e1rios de psican\u00e1lise de orienta\u00e7\u00e3o lacaniana em Barcelona (Instituto do Campo Freudiano em Europa), desenvolve um trabalho de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o sobre a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre imagem e desejo, dum ponto de vista est\u00e9tico e psicanal\u00edtico.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Rafela Nicolau<\/strong> has a degree in Art History from the Universitat de les Illes Balears and a PhD in Aesthetics from the \u00c9cole des Hautes \u00c9tudes en Sciences Sociales (Paris).
